On this episode of The Fanboy Garage, we jump right in by unpacking some of the early word of mouth buzz rolling out around Captain Marvel. Projected to have a $100+ million opening weekend, Captain Marvel looks to be another success for the MCU as it marches towards Avengers: End Game in April
From there we discuss our thoughts on the Rated-R comic book movies and whether or not the MCU should have Rated-R films in its universe. In the conversation, we unravel the latest updates and news surrounding the Disney and 20thCentury Fox merger and the implications it can have on the broader television landscape
We quickly turn heel and discuss the return of Batista to the WWE and speculate on how long we expect to see Guardians of the Galaxy actor after WrestleMania 35. We even chat about how Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the success he’s had post-his days as a WWE Superstar.
To close the show, we lightly discuss the results of the Academy Awards and give props to Black Panther for its win in the Original Score category before we talk a bit about Bohemian Rhapsody and the second episode of Doom Patrol.
In something near and dear to our hearts, we are excited to announce that we are planning a Cancer Awareness Campaign with more details to come in the near future.
